Tuition, Fees & Billing Information

Billing & Payment
E-Billing is the University’s official method of distributing the student account statement and allows for quick, simple, online access to the bill.  Our first E-bill notification will be sent to your Columbia University e-mail ID on August 15, 2008.

Tuition

Estimated tuition for the academic year 2008-09 is $43,140, assessed per term: Fall 08 - $21,570; Spring 09 - $21,570.

Student Fees

Estimated student fees include disability insurance, a one time transcript fee, computer access fee, Program Fee for instructional materials: transcript fee - $95; disability insurance fee - $85; program fee for instructional material - $85; computer access fee - $110. Student Health Service fee – $990 (individual), Medical Insurance Premium – $2,602 (individual) All fees are billed in full for the fall term, except the computer access fee, which is billed $55 per term.

The University provides a long-term disability insurance policy for medical students, commencing at registration.
