Walker Percy Society

Named after the famous Southern author and P&S grad Walker Percy, this club meets about once a month to discuss a piece of writing. This is NOT a medical literature club, it is for medical students who read for pleasure and enjoy talking about stories.

We also occasionally have off-campus events such as going to a poetry reading, seeing a Broadway show of a play we have read, or having a famous author come talk to us. We are also very open to new ideas and reading suggestions, and are excited to adapt the club to fit this year's members.

Check out titletrader.com, it’s a reliable way to trade books via post. You give away an old book and get points for doing so, then you redeem your points for a new book. Keeps your bookshelf from filling up!
