The Ethics Club holds monthly meetings as well as panel discussions and debates on pertinent issues in medical ethics. Our goal is to create a comfortable forum for non-experts to discuss and debate medical ethical issues which will be a part of our every-day practice as physicians. While the club is by and for students, we also bring in speakers to expose students to expert opinions on various topics. Some of the issues we addressed in the past year have been placebo effect, medical mistakes and medical students' role in clinical years. In addition, we celebrate an ethics night in both fall and spring with speakers and dinner. Come discuss and debate with us!
