CUMC Muslim Student Association

The CUMC Muslim Student Association is an organization that promotes tolerance and diversity among its members, where all individuals are welcome. Students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to join and build connections within the broader medical campus community. Events are held sporadically throughout the school year, and your feedback and suggestions are important to us.

Some of the events in the prior year included the following:

  • Community Iftar/Dinner with CUMC students, staff, and guests
  • Dessert Social
  • Host of Muslim Inter-Scholastic Tournament (MIST) for high school youth
  • Farewell Dinner for graduating class
  • Weekly Iftars during the holy month of Ramadan
  • Weekly Friday Jummah prayers are held at Milstein hospital on the 2nd floor (see below for designated prayer spaces)
